It seems that no matter which party you vote for you get the same old crap. None of them can be believed, none of them do what they promise and most are simply liars and crooks. It is hard to get excited about an election when you know that it doesn't really matter who gets elected. I am tired of having to vote for the lesser of evils. While I would prefer Ben Carson or Ted Cruz Trump is definitely a breath of fresh air and his not being a politician appeals to lots of people. He's been short on answers and the media is pressing him. Also, I don't think he could carry the nomination because he's disenfranchising minorities by the second. He's sounding good to white republicans, but you can't win an election in the US by only white Americans. He's IMHO an extension of the populist "monster" McCain created by drafting Palin for VP. There's a lot of talk about WASP America feels threatened by the inclusion of growing demographics (African American, Asian, Latino). America's demographics are changing and IMO this populist voice is almost predictable (an IMO screwed up). An interesting read.

http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2015/08/31/the-fearful-and-the-frustrated

Donald Trump and the White Nationalists

By stoking paranoia about immigration, Trump has found a following among far-right extremists.

MAJ Keira Brennan Tue, 25 Aug 2015 11:34:36 -0400 2015-08-25T11:34:36-04:00 Response by SSG Warren Swan made Aug 25 at 2015 11:44 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-you-agree-with-howard-stern?n=916766&urlhash=916766

Yes only in the fact that folks are tired of the "professional politician", and the fact that being president doesn't give you carte blanche to do whatever you want, congress has a say in it too. I think Trump would have a serious issue with being told no by anyone of any party, and his ability to compromise coupled with his ego would be his undoing. If elected, he'd actually be one of the worst if not the worst president ever due to his sense of self importance.
