I think the opposition is significantly smaller than people think, but it exists. To a certain extent it always has. Criminal elements have specifically targeted police essentially forever. The problem now is that they are gaining support through the guise of political movement from more "normal" people who misunderstand the situation. This "war on police" has been spurred on by the Obama Administration and its efforts to create race warfare. Their support of the idiots in Ferguson, Baltimore, and other racially-charged incidents fueled the fire that is now burning. Obama's and the DOJ's refusal to take any positive measures to stop the nonsense make them culpable.

This lawlessness is the change that Obama promised... Response by COL Jean (John) F. It was instigated by the POTUS and the AG always vocally supporting perps over law enforcement. Combine that with the national media not only supporting this narrative, but actually tailoring their reportage to fit the template. Now you have this #blacklivesmatter bunch egging each other on over social media and cops are getting blindsided. If this lot thinks cops were bad before, wait till they start getting nervous and paranoid. Or perhaps we're due for a "blue flu"epidemic. If minority communities hate the cops so much, then let 'em police their owm communities while the "pigs" enjoy some well-deserved vacation time.
