My passion is serving my country and serving youth. As a retired teacher and Army officer, I am subbing at Oakland Military Institute and supporting their military staff at summer camp and extracurricular activities. I also work with CAP and Naval Sea Cadets, I love to to all the above for these young people and guide them to a path of responsibility respect, self esteem, leadership and teamwork. Too many youth today feel entitled, and these type of programs that combine caring ans support with discipline are what I like to support. As a retiree I continue with these passions.

Been a teacher since 1993. Coached youth baseball for a number of years, as well as HS football for many years. I've been our school's Model UN advisor for 20 years.

I coach a local high school varsity boys XC team, substitute teach high school math, and provide individual coaching to adults looking to train for marathons.

Recently I've been helping novice CG artists learn 3d modeling in blender, actually I was putting together a course to teach game devs (who tend to be mostly programmers) how to take an established and free to use base mesh and tweek it into an individual character but I may have overestimated the abilities of that target audience...we will just say that the rest of this story is not PC.

Years ago when I was in highschool and going to a vo-tech, my shop teacher use to have an expression he loved "Moody, you are loafing, help steve out and whatever grade he gets you get". That year was worse than a year of boot but say what you will, I am now one with that course material.
