Soldiers from Germany and Panama would arrive late at night, and would complete separation (DD214, final pay, and flights home, opportunity to transfer/enlist in IRR/NG/USAR) the next day. Numbers were anywhere between 10 and 100+. Practice was based on SOFA agreements to not separate service members in host countries. I recall there was one at Jackson and another at Ft Dix.
