Do you prefer a VA loan or a convention loan?

I have had both but I prefer the conventional as long as long as I do not pay PMI.

I've never used a VA loan, I've always been able to get a better rate through conventional, and was able to put money down.
In most cases, IF you have a down payment, conventional is the better deal. The primary advantage of VA is no down payment is needed.
