Do you think a military coup could ever be possible in the US?

What are your thoughts about the recent regime changes in other countries the last few years, could you see that happening within the United States with all the benefits and cuts the Congressional and POTUS keep taking from the military and other retirees. Could you see some sort of uprising with support from a military coup taking place in this country, such as what occurred when the country was formed by our forefathers back in the late 18th century?
Be honest and give both sides of what you may truly think and feel, could it happen or never even a thought of occurrence?

OK...which are we discussing? a Coup? or the military-industrial complex control of the world conspiracy discussion?
A military coup? I know that we have a few off the deep members on AD and in the reserves/NG - which is why the Secret Service is nervous. But our military taking over???? I cannot imagine any event, or series of events that our military would or should ever do that.......

I think that with the control big business has over most of our elected officials that even voting them out won't happen. I feel there is enough power within these organizations that elections can be won without real votes even being cast, and the chosen candidate would/could be placed in the WH no matter what either side wants. I think that is what happened in 2012 with the votes in many states, with undocumented and id'd voters, how do you who actually voted and how many times.
