Nope completed my form 22 Jan and I am still waiting on a sponsor :( have a report date of 4 APR.

The quality of the sponsors reflects the amount of emphasis the unit puts into the sponsorship. If a sponsor is not contacting, but has the information, the unit needs to put the hammer down.

SFC Private RallyPoint Member It recently worked out well for me, but I'm not sure if it was because of the program or because they are already expecting me. The person who TASP said was my sponsor was not the one to contact me. So who really knows. Only time will tell.

It will because mpd's are not releasing orders until soldiers have a sponsor assigned.

Great intent, terrible execution. A Soldier requests or wants a sponsor, this could be a positive change. To force senior officers and nco's to have sponsors who don't want them is an absolute waste of time as they very likely have already been assigned to a particular duty location multiple times. So how does this make us more efficient? It doesn't, but another administrative burden that we mindlessly execute.
