I probably should have waited to give them the beer AFTER they packed my stuff though. Some things didn't fair too well... I think we may have given the guys in Germany a beer... after they finished the job, haha. They weren't expecting it and had to make a couple of guys eat because the weren't use to getting food and drinks for moving. I'm thinking the locals here in Hawaii don't do that kind of stuff for the movers and packers. The last movers told me If you have a box of bolts and screws that some will intently throw them away. They do this so that the other movers won't have to put your bed frames, chairs, etc together. It was "easier for the owner to be reimbursed than to have the movers take up time to do it themselves" Fortunately, I did this and kept the box of bolts with me this time.
