Does anybody know of a current generation model of ergometer suitable for the stationary bike alternate APFT event? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-anybody-know-of-a-current-generation-model-of-ergometer-suitable-for-the-stationary-bike-alternate-apft-event <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am trying to organize an APFT for a Soldier with a permanent profile that only allows the 6.2 mile bike. We have already attempted a normal bicycle test with poor results (traffic and terrain). It seems that these bikes are so few and far between that when you find one on a base, it&#39;s held under lock and key, and you have to go on a quest to find the keyholder (Lookin at you, Ft. Drum). The nearest bike to my duty location is longer than an hours drive away, and all the bikes I have ever seen have been in use longer than I have in the Army. I want to order a new bike, but the models that are currently in use I cannot find to buy for my unit. Does anybody know of any current models of bicycle ergometer that fit the criteria that a unit could buy? The AF went away from the bike test and they may have one you could use. TSgt David L. There are many set ups that use regular bikes that hook up to a stationary trainer. I am sure you aren’t the only person in this situation.
