Keep in mind that a promotion will also hinder on vacancies at the next rank. A friend in the Chemical Corps has an outstanding record but because there were no vacancies his MOS didn&#39;t promote for a few years. I&#39;m in another MOS but was promoted before him which made him jealous. So you do what you can to make sure your records are correct and let the system take over from there.

Passing APFT less than 6 months old. <br />The rest is dependent and if you have no time left, you&#39;re out of luck. But a bachelors degree is helpful. A broadening tour too. <br />Good luck.
