does the Air Force still have an abbreviated Basic Training for those with either high school ROTC or Civil Air Patrol?

I remember that. I went through Lackland in 92, and a couple of airmen in my flight got the short Basic course for their JROTC time. I dn't know if they still do it or not.

Its same for all now. If you have JROTC, CAP, or certain amount of college, you come out E-3.

it has. I was one of them. a Veteran I was with in Germany and North Dakota also did it
