I am learning Army operates Substance Abuse Programs, and retains soldiers. However, around 2011 or so it all changed. The army didn't need the men anymore and so they began to give them the boot for failing UAs. It is a sad fact ghat when the military needs people they will bend the rules to keep men in to do the job, but when they don't need them one slip up could mean the end to an otherwise incredible servicemebers career. Oh well. That's just tthe way that it goes.
