I know the Air Force has what is called "Air Reserve Technicians". M-F you work as a civilian. But you still drill once a month and have your annual tour as well. Does the Army offer anything similar to that?

Edit: I am commissioning May 21' in the RC and am interested in working as a civilian for Department of the Army.Does the Army offer federal civilian jobs for those in the Reserve Components?2019-10-15T16:16:34-04:002LT Private RallyPoint Member5130628

I am uncertain if the Army has any positions for those who are current service members in the USAR/USARNG. DA civilians are not.
The Army is supposed to be transitioning away from MilTechs and converting to DA civilians but there is no clear timeline.
Jobs are available on USAjobs.
