Does the new tattoo policy include the feet? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-the-new-tattoo-policy-include-the-feet <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know the new policy requires documentation of tattoos from the knee down. It also says inspection done in summer PTs so shoes and socks would be worn covering said tattoos on the foot. I already have a thought but am curious to others thoughts. Below the elbow and knee. Their feet are below their knees (unless they walk on their hands) and thus I would have them documented. What's it going to hurt? If the commander tells them no, then kindly ask for a memo signed by that commander stating that they did not want to document them and the Soldier will then be covered at their next unit. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 24 Apr 2014 11:22:16 -0400 2014-04-24T11:22:16-04:00 Response by SFC William Swartz Jr made May 3 at 2014 8:20 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-the-new-tattoo-policy-include-the-feet?n=118030&urlhash=118030 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would say that it would have to be included in the below the knee statement, and while it is true that in summer pts one would not see the feet with shoes and socks, I would think that not documenting them would violate the letter and spirit of the reg. That's just the humble opinion of someone who doesn't have to worry about this anymore at all. Drill Foot! if you don't get it, then it's a Marine Corps only thing. had to share GySgt Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 09 May 2014 01:18:59 -0400 2014-05-09T01:18:59-04:00 2014-04-24T10:08:48-04:00
