Ok so due to problems with my BASD on my ERB, I’ve been waiting a year and a half now to be promoted from SPC-SGT. Currently in the process to fix that problem. What are my chances to go straight to BLC and skip the board? Asking because of my schedule being so hectic being in a leadership position, I haven’t had time to study. Also previous 1SG said I wouldn’t be going to the board?

Some thoughts from an old salt. Take them or leave them.

1) Bull shit. You have time to study, you just haven't prioritized it. Which is fine, your priorities are your own. But call it what it is.
2) Even if it is authorized, you should never seek to get promoted without the board. It's there for a reason.
3) Promotion board recommendation is not required for BLC, but it does bump you up the priority list. Of course, so does getting promoted. Unless things have changed in the last couple years, since I retired.
4) There is very little to go on in your post. But you sound like the type of Soldier who looks for the easy way. That is not the type of Soldier who needs to be leading Troops. I hope to God my initial impression is wrong. And if it is not, I pray you fix yourself real quick.

My apologies SFC, I understand 100% why everything you’ve mentioned is so important. I’ve just got ambitions flustering everywhere and haven’t really had the leaders that care or at least seem to, to answer my questions fully and actually help me to prioritize. So thankful that you’ve kept your comment as honest as you’ve done.

You've wasted a year and a half not studying.
Not to be insulting, and things may have changed, but I'm not coming up with any leadership position duties and responsibilities at your level that would have you too busy to study for the board.
If you don't make time to study for the board, you are going to be lacking in basic knowledge in areas that not only impact you, but any Soldiers you supervise.
I've got raised eyebrows with your claim of a year and a half problem with a BASD. Having had a break in service from RA, with some ADT as a member of the USAR, my BASD was challenging for about one minute. So, I don't see where that is an issue.

1SG, I’ve gotten pretty much a huge run around within BN up to BDE S1 trying to figure out the solution. Counted HRC in as well and still no answers until just over 2 months ago. I’m not saying (which I should’ve included) that I’m incapable of studying, it’s more of the sense that I was studying previously in prep for the board as I’ve gotten a vast majority of the needed knowledge plus more. Henceforth why I have not been studying.

What do you believe in the problem with you BASD?
Regardless, go to the HRC DIEMS website and select the link that fits your situation. It will explain how to calculate it.

1SG, so the issue was, I had a 2 month break in service and my recruiter put in the date I came back in vs the day I originally came in. According to my career counselor, it should be done here in about 2 weeks. My problem wasn’t with skipping the board although noted, the question I meant to ask was what I should mentally prioritize as far as promotion board or BLC.
