There was some play in the system, If you were due to PCS with 2 wks of a 6 mo Westpac we would probably leave you behind TAD to the shore station but I saw plenty transfer while we were underway too. Your unit does have the ability to request that HRC delete your PCS instructions in lieu of the deployment; if they choose to do that. In short, the Army can send you where they need you. We are here to help wherever you go.
1. Trust some of us to know where you are and where you are supposed to be going with the PCS (the deployment is OPSEC we understand that).
2. My wife and many others have been through just as many deployments as their Soldiers have. Let those with dependent experience help your dependents.
3. We have experience that can help you. This is a very stressful time in my career. Any more knowledge of feedback on what I can do to not PCS in such short notice would be greatly appreciated.
