Has anyone completed grad courses at Liberty University Online? What did you think? I'm interested in a Masters in Public Policy or an MBA.

I just completed the MBA 36 hr program in May. I really liked it. Definitely challenging. With that said, if I could go back I would go to Colorado State Univeristy Colorado Springs online MBA. They slate the only online MBA accredited by the AACSB. That's the highest level of accreditation for a business degree in the country. The downside is that you would have to use the 9/11 gi bill for it since it's way more than what you get with TA. Liberty changed their graduate tuition to $275 per unit for military last year which is an easy to cover. So it just depends on what you want out of it. If you are ok with letting go with your gi bill I would do CSUCS. But if not Libertyis by far the best option outside of that. Great school and amazing military department faculty. The head of military affairs is a retired major general, I believe.

I can't caution you enough on this, ensure your University/College is accredited by the regional accrediting bodies and that your program is accredited, in the case of an MBA, by AACSB. You will spend a lot of time and money on a degree that holds no weight. This is a rare case when national accreditation means little.

Check out Union Institute and University's programs. I have found their program in Organizational Leadership to be outstanding and well worth the time and money.

I have completed about 4 classes. The best price for a graduate degree program. I like getting a Christian world perspective yet that was also the tough part trying to write papers backed with scripture. My degree was Counseling, I have not been back in to school in over seven years and have to restart. Trying to decide what to do. Hands down great military rates. Also distance learning was a good experience.

Hi Jose,
I am finishing my Master's degree in Human Services Counseling through Liberty University, and I loved my program. This the first time I took online classes (because I'm old and am afraid of technology), but the site is very very easy to navigate, and the course work was challenging I got so much out of my program.
I'm a fan of Liberty.

I completed my graduate in Accounting online while working full-time, and it was excellent. It's a pretty difficult program as it's accelerated and they don't cut corners on the expectations and classwork load. I came out of the program able to write 30+ papers and articulate my thoughts somewhat intelligently. I strongly recommend LU for both their undergrad and grad programs.

Its a great school, the MBA is a regionally accredited school (SACS) and also holds an accreditation through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
I just completed a different Masters degree in counseling and as someone that is not super comfortable with the on-line format, I found that Liberty University has figured the online format out. The site is super easy to navigate and use. The Jerry Falwell library is amazing and is easy to use as well!!! There are tutorials for everything for the online student.
I loved my program there. It was a very challenging program, and I got so much out of it. The Professors are currently working in the fields that I was studying.
You should look at them as a possible school.

I earned my MBA at Liberty in August 2015. I had a couple of breaks due to family commitments, but liked it overall. I would high recommend Liberty to anyone that is interested.

Evening Jose, I don't know of anyone who has studied at Liberty. I have heard good things about the school, however. If you would like compare schools, programs and cost, I would be happy to discuss options with you at American Military University. We have both an MBA and a MPP, both are respected programs in their areas.
