Make sure that there is paperwork signed on this; otherwise, no bonus for you. That is where you should see that there is a Bonus Addendum has been added. There will also be another Written Bonus Agreement that you will sign. That is all part of the contract and that is what DFAS looks at to pay out the bonus. I re-enlisted as an air traffic controller with a bonus of 4. which amounted to a bonus of 4X my monthly pay at the time...about $4K.
