More likely that the news of Paris got to Mali and the local branch of goombas decided that they could do it too.<br />There has been trouble in Mali for a while, and the local ISIS affiliate got tore up pretty good by the French a couple of years ago. My guess is the French Foreign Legion will open up a can in the near future.
