Has ISIS pulled out all the stops as new terror attack in Mali hints?

Breaking news from multiple sources AP, CNN, Fox.....10 gunmen have taken over 100 hostages at Mali hotel, killing some and releasing a few 'who can quote the Quaran." Has ISIS become less random and gone on an all-out offensive? What should be our best course of action?

I rather doubt that this attack was coordinated with ISIS-central. More likely that the news of Paris got to Mali and the local branch of goombas decided that they could do it too.
There has been trouble in Mali for a while, and the local ISIS affiliate got tore up pretty good by the French a couple of years ago. My guess is the French Foreign Legion will open up a can in the near future.
