To be honest, I don't think it's based on race, sex, orientation, or faith. I think there are too many soldiers who look out for number one instead of realizing that a soldier's job is one of sacrifice for the greater good. It's not about me, me, me. The organization and MWR will try to do their best, but you're still going to be in the suck. Get used to it.

Overall, I think the situations where someone "pulls the card" are few and far between, and given way too much attention. I don't care where or what it is there should be no quota. Yea I carried a DIA Courier Card for Several Years in Navy Blues. As far as this "Complaint" I put it in the same category that I put those that condemn PC Political Correctness in that they want to go back to being able to say the most outrageous Racist, Misogynistic Crap Imaginable and get a free pass. Nope it doesn't work that way. Yes the Military has made great strides and in some respects has always outpaced our Civilian Counterparts in trying to achieve Equality and Fairness but we still have a Long Way to Go before we start patting ourselves on the back and yell "We've Arrived".
