Yes by the Ft Campbell and Ft Riley WTUs. They are the ones who helped me retire without much pride for my service in the Army.

All the time, at the time. Was wrong most of the time, after the fact. Hindsight is an SOB.

There were a couple legitimate "this ain't right" cases as well as a few "pick your battle" cases, but overall my pluses were better than minuses.

All the time; especially on my way out. If the military can find a way to keep money owed away from you, they will. Biggest lesson I ever learned--keep documentation on everything.

I'd be surprised to know someone who wasn't at some point in time... It's part of the Military culture!

There are asshole's in every profession, and the military holds quite a few of em. I had my share of power tripping NCO's, but I drove on, and used it as a learning point, on how NOT to treat Soldiers. The military wasn't designed to be a "summer camp" type atmosphere, order and discipline are a must, and so goes corrective training, which some people view as "being abusive", when administered the correct way, the training value is high. If you ever feel "abused" in the military, you can always contact IG, with that being said, when you do call em, you better make sure you have a legitimate grievance, or they won't give you the time of day..

If you are or, were I hope you aren't or weren't standing for it . Granted the situation can be overwhelming. The Military will take measures to police certain things up like hazing or belittling. I think it's what you define as a abuse. I haven't been in long but, I have seen little actual claims of abuse that had some truth to it. Things have changed drastically though. You can't even address trainees in BCT as Privates because the term is considered belittling .
