Visit it? I was Master of Ceremonies for the Memorial Ceremony two years ago!

Not only have I been there (stationed there at Eglin and an Instructor at the school), my team and others cleared the area for the construction of the Memorial on Range Rd and the new school house on Range 51. I have not been there since to see my boys lost to the war efforts on the wall but think about them a lot.
I went through in the 80s when the badge/pin was called the Charles County Crab. Hence the "Crab" moniker. Not many young Techs know that I think. So I saw the Memorial at both locations.

Yes. The last time I saw it was during an ACDUTRA circa 1987 in Indian Head, Maryland. Not sure if it's still there. When I graduated in the summer of 1969, all EOD techs, regardless of service, were trained in Indian Head. I graduated and got orders to EODGRUONE then Vietnam.

Yes both locations, I went through School at Indian Head in the 86-87 and stationed in the panhandle of Florida in 03-08.

I had the privilege of working on the original memorial in 1970 at Indianhead, Md.
In 2014 I made my first trip to Eglin and the memorial

At Eglin, Yes I have. I passed by the one in Indian Head many times while as school.
I wanted to pay my respects to all and to my friend and classmate who was added in 1980. I was there in January 2020 one weekend.

Hey can someone from the 111th EOD unit contact me. When you set me up and blackmailed me into joining the IRR, you messed up the paperwork and it honorably discharged me. You told me if I went into the IRR that weekend all would be good, it’s not.
