Help with OCS Application

Prior Service Marine currently in the Army reserve, have a degree in Electrical and computer engineering. I want to be an officer in the army reserve. I live in the DC metro area does anyone know how to procced with my OCS package. The career office in my unit has not been that helpfull in assisting me and sugguestions will help. Thanks

This is where you reach into the regulation[s]. You seek support through your commanders at all levels. You remain respectful and if you desire it and you want it: focus on the key word "opportunity." This opportunity as you have already learned is not being handed do you. If you desire it, want it: Reach for it and find those who see you and why you are worth supporting for an "opportunity" to be a military officer.
If you have done all that you can, reach for the regulation and place your-self before a board: Direct Commission.

Get a letter of recommendation from your C.O or X.O or someone of a field grade rank or above E8....that can help.
