I am stationed in Belgium and my family and I toured the beaches of Normandy a few weeks ago. It was a very humbling experience to say the least. You choose your level of involvement. Volunteering for one flight basically involves one full day and the costs associated with that day. <br />The value comes from the help you give to the disabled vet your assisting. Often times this is their last chance to see the memorial due to their terminal condition. It's difficult to put a price on that value!
