Also hold an associate's in medical laboratory technology as well as my national MLT certification. PT score of 270 and I am currently filling the ncoic of supply role for my clinic as well as the POC for vehicles. It's better not mentioning it if you can go that route. This is a 3 phase operation: 1 gain support from leadership. 2 The local board is about an interview with you. 3 The DA board looks at your whole packet. Is there something in the packet that states you had a DUI? Like I said don't mention it unless you want to curtail and kill your chances of going to OCS. As an officer, the enlisted in your charge are supposed to look up to you. I had an OIC who despite being fully pregnant, you'd still see her running long distance runs. She'd be up on the pullup bar and getting other Marines up there too. Don't settle with just being yourself. It will tell you what you need to do and the process. Typically, you will have to go through unit level boards or some sort of evaluation prior to going to a post level board. From there it goes to the Army board. The DUI may be a hindrance and will require at the very least a DA4187 requesting a moral waiver. The only way to see what the Army will allow is to contact HRC as they typically will have the most current standards and requirements.
