How can I request an earlier reclass school date if my date to reclass to 42A is next year?

You could try to go in a wait status if your command will support it.

42A is a hard school to land dates for if they gave you next year its probably a guaranteed seat. I have tried two other earlier dates but did not get reserved. My dates are now 2020 . Good luck
