How can I track down my lost medical records? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-track-down-my-lost-medical-records <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I retired in 1995 and had my medical records with me. I turned them into a TMC at Andersen AFB in Guam because I was receiving treatment there. I was on Guam about a year when I had to go back stateside and I left my records at that TMC. I have tried to find my records everywhere with no success. I&#39;ve called there and was told that they didn&#39;t have them, but they would have been sent to St Louis. I&#39;ve put in requests several times to both the MILPERCEN, the VA, and the National Archives. They all claim they don&#39;t have them. I can&#39;t believe this. Can anyone help? Except they sent everything but medical records and passed me from person to person and agency to agency. Just ridiculous!!! Try state representative and/state senator’s office. Worth a shot! That is direction I am going. See what happens. I don’t know if VA is incompetent or unwilling to release med records for fear that a disability claim may be filed. I did a few years back. I believe this is the number to reach someone at NPRC Customer service. The telephone number is [login to see] . I had requested my Dependant Medical records after I had received a copy of my Military Service and Medical records. But the last place those records had been seen was possibly at the Naval Hospital in Keflavic, Iceland! Iceland is no longer active. My medical records along with all the other dependant medical records from Iceland were supposedly sent to the National Records Archive. Well, they didn&#39;t have my dependant health records, and I guess those medical records are HISTORY (never to be seen again)!! The attitude is one of that&#39;s just the way it goes because there is no explanation given for missing medical records! There is &quot;ABSOLUTELY NO CARE OR CONCERN&quot; given that I have a Federal Right to Medical Privacy, and those Federal rights have been violated along with the my Federal Rights to privacy concerning personal and private information. This is a department of the Federal Government. They don&#39;t care, because they don&#39;t have to care!!!! So if your records are missing, I&#39;m not sure who you should talk to considering everyone I tried to tell looked at me as if I had 3 heads and was speaking in a language only used on Mars!
