Huffman, I think being a Soldier for life comes with a responsibility to continue to represent the Army in just about all that a retiree does. To continue to maintain high standards of personal and professional conduct. To "talk up" the Army to others. We're not all rah-rah cheerleaders - I know I'm not - but we can all say things to others in our day-to-day interactions that reflect positively on the Army. And since actions speak louder than words, we can act in a way to positively reflect on the Army. Those are generic, I know.

Social media is another place where we can make a positive impact on society as retirees - RallyPoint, obviously, but all the other big ones as well -- Facebook, Twitter, etc. That's where we come into contact with a lot of civilians and that's where we can represent and put forward a positive "face" for the Army. Cannot thank each of you that provided a response enough for helping us focus this discussion.
Remain informed and engaged to help your Army Serve America.
Bob Response by CW5 Robert L.
