All the recruiters I have met with stated they need a DD214 form. I try stating I have none. If you hit my profile i have a similar discussion going on where a SFC had given me info on where to try and locate paperwork PFC Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 11 Apr 2018 19:55:29 -0400 2018-04-11T19:55:29-04:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 11 at 2018 8:16 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-do-i-find-a-reenlistment-eligibility-code?n=3535561&urlhash=3535561 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It sounds like you&#39;re still in the reserves. You have a lot of terms confused. Your reenlistment eligibility code is on your ERB and affects your reenlistment. You&#39;re asking about a RE code which is a reentry code. You won&#39;t get an RE code for demobilization from active terms of service in the reserves. You are still a reservist with a contract. You may enlist (not reenlist) into the active component either by finishing your current RC contract and seeing an AD recruiter, or by obtaining a conditional release and seeing and AD recruiter. He will tell you exactly what you need. If you are separated from the Reserves then you would have a DD214 showing your discharge. If you just have a DD214 from finishing your training then you wouldn’t have an RE code because your not discharged. Unless you did something wrong or had medical issues there shouldn’t be a reason why you would be denied an application to enlist RA. Submitting an application is not the same as being accepted. There could be other seasons for not being accepted like Army end strength, not an MOS in demand, age... A DD-214 is only issued after 90 days or more of active duty time is served. But I cant find my RE Code on my separation orders either.
