Unfortunately I didn’t know that I would have to pay for everything up front (gas, and temp lodging) then get reimbursed so I didn’t save up enough. I know I can request a pay advance but I can’t do that until I have my orders which is the same day I’ll have to leave. On top of that I have to pay my down payment and prorated rent as well. I was wondering if I could request PTDY so that way I would have 10 days to request and receive my pay advice. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Have you filled out a DA31 yet? If so, did your CoC not accept it, despite your situation?<br /><br />Also have you looked at getting a Government Travel Charge Card? It should alleviate any situations like this, should it occur in the future.
