If you are CONUS there are positions on base that prefer to hire spouses. OCONUS it's very difficult for spouses to find work that doesn't involve selling Scentsy candles or leggings to other spouses. Each ACS program and funding is specific to its post so you have to contact the post you are moving to. <br />Once you have 6 years in you can transfer your GI Bill to your spouse and they can use that. They won't qualify for the BAH but all the other benefits will remain.
