Firefox, 34% of Opera, and 30% of Safari browsers had

Let me preface this comment by saying I am not computer-illiterate, and I am above-average intelligence.

I am not savvy enough to know what I would do to "patch" my browser.  I've configured security settings, and I have antivirus software, but I don't know anything about "patching" my browser.

Could one of you more knowledgeable gentlemen link a good resource for this?  (BTW I'm using Chrome, if that makes a difference) I would really appreciate it.

When I stated "patch your systems" I meant the total of all software, keep your personal computing operating system, Mac or Windows, A/V, soft firewall, and browser current, turn on auto update. Delete applications you do not use on a regular basis.

Ahh... these things I (at least attempt to) do.  Thanks LTJG Myles for the warnings, though... I'll attempt a little harder.

I have all and I think they are all broke in their own ways.

Agreed.  Each browser excels in some areas and sucks in others. Patching is the only way to keep up.
