There might be a great chance that I’m leaving soon for bootcamp. <br /><br />Im currently serving in AF Civil Engineering as a project manager. I’ve researched enough to prepare myself about basic, WOCS, and tech trng. At this point I’m more curious about the tech warrant’s lifestyle and day to day routine. There are a lot articles about aviation warrant, but there arent too many for techs. I understand that the AF has it nice and comfy due to less BS we have to deal with. Does warrants have to deal with the same BS everyone has? I’m highly driven and physically fit so I dont think it would be much of a shock, but again we does things differently in the AF. Any advice would be much appreciated. How is an Army Tech Warrant Officers’ quality of life? 2019-01-08T23:40:37-05:00 WO1 Private RallyPoint Member 4270782 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Bluf: I just got notified that my warrant packet is now board ready. From your background in the AF I am assuming that you are trying to become a 120A. If so, then I can tell you it is a very challenging and rewarding experience to be an engineer Warrant. There are very few of us and no one seems to fully grasp what we are capable of. So it’s up to you to sell your worth and we have a plethora of assignments where you can do a multitude of unique jobs. So far I have no regrets. The reason I ask is because unless recently implemented, the Air Force doesn&#39;t have Warrant Officers. I would say that EVERYONE has a certain amount of nonsense in their career. But to me, it seems that those that are more prepared focused, and knowledgeable on doing their job seem to have less. Its you career so in a sense you dictate the amount of nonsense in it. Good luck on your career move Response by CW3(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 9 at 2019 5:30 AM 2019-01-09T05:30:23-05:00 2019-01-09T05:30:23-05:00 CW2 Stephen Pate 4277389 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Best decision you&#39;ve ever made! Someone once described it as &quot;being given the keys to the executive restroom&quot;. Officer housing, better pay, officer priveleges, etc. As long as you know your stuff and can provide the technical expertise the CO needs, you&#39;ll be in good stead. Best of luck to you!
