TSgt Richard Wheeler 600044 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I was medically retired for asthma 2 years ago and now the VA wanted to test my lung function. No big deal right well after the test the respiratory therapist said after my breathing treatment the results didn&#39;t really change. So now I&#39;m worried that the VA is going to come back and say that I don&#39;t have asthma and take my disability away. Any help or advise would greatly be appreciated. If I'm understanding you correctly, you developed asthma while serving? If your results have not changed, it would be logical for them not to change your rating. Either way if you can breath right you should be happy. They can change it any time the need arises. If you appeal a rating or submit for something new they can change the rating up, or down, as they see fit. The only time that a rating is not challenged is if you get the rare "Total and permanent" designation. Hope this helps.
