They messed up on my paperwork saying that I had LSC . Which I don’t and I went to a dermatologist and I have paperwork and my medical history saying that I don’t . But it’s still taking forever to hear back from them . Whether paperwork is lost or stolen or caught on fire whichever the case, waivers are usually not priorities unless they know the flash to bang time is quick and it also depends on what score you got on the ASVAB whether your are considered one category or another meaning, if you did not do so hot on the ASVAB but passed enough to enter and you want to be a rocket scientist then its probably not lost paperwork.

I can tell you from my own experience I have had waivers that were quick and some that took almost 3 months to be signed off on. I have never seen one that takes 9 months or longer (not saying they don't exist).

Usually this type of stuff is done during your prescreening with a recruiter "" and if you answered properly they should never of even sent you to MEPS without the proper paperwork which from when I last stepped out of recruiting, we scanned in documents that needed to go with a waiver, so I am not sure how digital copies of stuff got lost???? that is just weird stuff right there!!!

If you have been waiting around since February and you know for sure and have the proof that you do not have a waiver condition why wait so long for an answer or processing? Find another recruiter outside your area go to a different service, there is no sense in continuing to wait for an answer. And FYI each military branch has their own criteria on waivers so depending on which service you are trying to enter in would depend on if the condition can be waivered. Stop waiting, find a new recruiter/service and get the ball rolling again, that is being proactive with your own life don't wait for the phone to ring by your recruiter because I can tell you 9 out of 10 times he/she will not be calling anytime soon...

Good luck!! Then waiting again. Chances are "they" will want you to submit every piece of information regarding the issue you can muster, thats why my medical packet was an inch thick my first time going to MEPs. Be sure to photocopy everything you hand in, and be very proactive in finding your paperwork, that will reduce time as much as possible.
