How long does it take for your ERB to update with complete after BLC?

My soldier recently graduated from ALC on the 31st of July it is not Aug 6th. His 1059 has been uploaded to iPERMS but on his ERB it still shows BLC/Enrolled. I’ve brought it up to my 1SG he says the school house or ATRRS would update that but that sounds weird. Any advice would help. Don’t want my soldier to miss out promotion on the 1st of September if possible.

I don't think the ERB, ORB,or ARB is connected to anything. I am up for the current CPT board, and had to submit my ORB, and it left off where I was a SGT, ignored my deployment, every single award, school, and promotions. The only thing correct were my Name, Rank, DOB, and entry into service dates.

Every single other item needed up be updated by my S1 (Company or Battalion should suffice). I believe there is also a self service option for this for Active Duty, but whatever it is you are trying to get onto the ERB would need to be in iPerms for the on-line support path. From there you could request the update. Or, if you have a "cool" S1, provide them the supporting documentation, and they will make it happen.

It is not automatic.

School house updates his graduation in ATTRS as well as sending his 1059 to ATTRS. It took mine two days to update when I graduated but I suggest putting in a help ticket with ATTRS to expedite the process

It usually takes 72 hours to update ERB'S if you have an issue go to your Unit's S1 shop with 1059 and before the 15th of the month

The Promotion Board will use what has been I-Permed, The soldier in question has to make sure everything is I-Permed, if it is not there it didn't happen as far as the promotion board is concerned

Reach out to the school. If it is not showing graduated, it’s because the school haven’t graduated your class in ATRRS. Good luck to you...

Generally takes 2 weeks for documents submitted to IPERMS to appear. The mel/mes section can only be updated by hrc. And theyll only accept input from the school. Be patient.

They really need to get a grip on IPERMs and ATTRS because this stuff should be automatic ad soon as a Award, Graduation, of anything significant to the soilder is attained. It makes no sense that the US Fighting Force has to go through small avoidable issues, that bring big issues later on down the line for people trying to expand their careers
