My secret clearance had to be adjudicated in March as well. I turned in all of my paperwork in time but my secret is still being adjudicated. Even if the investigation is ongoing there should be an interim in place by now SSgt Christophe Murphy Mon, 02 Aug 2021 15:45:06 -0400 2021-08-02T15:45:06-04:00 Response by LTC John Shaw made Aug 2 at 2021 3:45 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-long-does-it-take-to-adjudicate-my-secret-clearance?n=7153035&urlhash=7153035

You need to go to your Security Manager / S2 representative. They have the ability to see in the system where your information is in the process or they can call into security clearance 'help desk' that can advise on where your information is, what step it is in and what needs to happen next.
It is not unusual for the process to take months, so patience is required. The only way your Secret impacts is if you had some kind of incident report that caused you to get denied a Secret.

DISS has been very, very strange since it became the system of record taking over for JPAS. There are times people's accesses are getting randomly dropped, in my experience, or information not transferring from JPAS.

Did you talk to your BN, BDE S2 or your SSO about this? For anything SCI you need to have your S2 contact the SSO (Special Security Office).

As long as you have an Open with Advanced NAC Complete for your T5, that's good enough to get interim SCI to attend 35L school. if your T5 is closed, that's even better for your SCI.

For your secret - it could be that someone at DoD CAF just hasn't hit a button to adjudicate it. It could be OPM. But in my experience, as long as you got interim SCI to attend 35L school, you're fine. Most reclasses I've done that require a TS take closer to nine months or so. On the bright side, if I remember correctly, 35L will revert back to only requiring a Secret to schedule a class seat SFC Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 02 Aug 2021 18:47:38 -0400 2021-08-02T18:47:38-04:00 Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 4 at 2021 11:36 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-long-does-it-take-to-adjudicate-my-secret-clearance?n=7159485&urlhash=7159485

Clearances can take a while. Lots of good info on here already and since I’m no security manager, I won’t muddy the waters with any more about that.

CIAC/CISAC seats in FY21 require a TS to attend. Starting FY22, getting a seat will only require a Secret clearance to attend, an interim TS upon graduation to get your reclass orders, and a final TS/SCI within a year of graduation. So sayeth the rumor mill. I have seen a memo stating that was put into effect this year already, but there are no more classes starting this FY (that I’m aware of).
