How long does it take to receive a DD214 after separating from active orders?

Hello,
I was activated on Title 32 orders in April/2020 until September/2021 to support the COVID mission. Before getting off orders I put in a request for terminal leave for the entire month of September because I was set to ETS on October 6, 2021 out of the Cal Guard. Long story short, I still do not have a DD214 and I still haven't out processed. Not to mention I had two LOD's that were not processed when I contacted my new readiness for guidance. As you will note, its now Jan 2, 2022 and I still haven't heard anything. Any guidance as to how I should move forward?

On separation. The clerk has a checklist and its the last thing they give - just before the travel tickets.

Title 32 orders are state active duty orders, not federal active duty orders.
I would recommend that you contact your former unit readiness NCO and ask them about, in this order, the status of your LoDs, and then your NGB 22 (the discharge from the National Guard).

If you do not hear anything from them in a timely manner, start moving up the food chain. Make sure that you keep records of who you contact, when you contact them, and any response from them. I would suggest that you use e-mail as so that the records are readily available for you can access them at any time.

Think you should be looking for a NGB-22, not a DD-214. Also, if still paying you. Put it aside as the CA USPFO will be looking for it back.

You get a 214 when you demob from active duty, you get a NG-22 when you ETS from the Guard. All of this should have been taken care of at DEMOB site. You haven't out processed? You still got OCIE? Because that has to be turned in.

Guard would be NGB-22. If AGR rates a DD-214, then at your last visit to S-1 shop to leave.
