Trip advisor has an app through Facebook where you can put a pin in all the places you've been all over the globe. It's pretty entertaining if you take the time to do it. It keeps track of cities, states and countries.

Sorry forgot Africa, so it ends up being 6. High school trip to Spain, took the ferry to Tangiers...funky food, good brass stuff, a cool belly-dance music show. Weirdest place I've been. All the other continents were from Air Force trips. No desire to visit Antarctica.

By convention there are seven continents: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Antarctica. Some geographers list only six continents, combining Europe and Asia into Eurasia.

Depending on which convention you use. I missed Africa (sad, but true) and the Antarctica (most of my undersea ventures were the top of the world). All others I have visited as military or civilian.

Not bad since the Navy's slogan at the time was "Join the Navy, see the world) Army Reserve got me to most of these places.

I've only missed out on Antarctica. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to have Uncle Sam pay for an Antarctic trip now that I'm retired. I did try to get my wife to sign up for McMurdo Station (her as a doc and me as a Safety Officer), but she refused!

I have visited three different continents. Since I live in the North American continent, I will not count it. My first station right out of Artillery basic/osut was in South Korea, so, Asia is down. When I was in the Texas national guard with B 536 BSB, we served in Kuwait and Iraq, so, Africa is down. As a civilian, I have visited Poland, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy. On my way to Iraq, as a serviceman, we did a layover in Ireland, so, Europe is down.
