How much will an 01E with 8 years time in service get paid ?

During what active duty? Reserve/guard weekend? During ROTC time? Google it and look at army pay scale for your TIS and pay grade.

You can Google military pay chart and just do the math. CPT O'Neal nailed the rest with it all depends on how you are serving.

Believe !e, been there, done that (NYDT), I wasn't prior enlisted, which would've helped me immensely adjust more readily to the role, money is the last thing one worries about for such things, trust me, you'd get more tan enough...elwbrate more, assocs, Bach, what svcs you've looked at, your goals, brand, field, STEM non-STEM? Trust me, for that level, tpse are a whole lot more relevant, promise, I'd be most eager to hear more, no rush, whenever you might care to chat, honest, if I can suggest anything, just ask, OK?

Look at this also...and, if you can, look at USPHS, of you want clinical I didn't see an MOS gormyou, one doesn't have to be clinical with them, the use IT and engineers as well...also, like OK at the NOAA Commissioned Corps...and, do you want flight at all? Would you want WaoCS for warrant for rotary wing flight for Army? Just wondered...Nay just reopened cuber for WO1, and Army has the direct commission cyber, USCG has sevl direct commission programs, incl engineers...how far are you toward a Bach? Did you want SMP? Green to Gold? Elaborate, I'd be most eager to know !ore as I'd said, I have an interest in such things, OK?

Wow....unfortunately, you did not expect to get the responses thus far, but people are giving you flak as a SGT(P) with AD service but what might look like no clue on how to look at the pay chart. I do not see how there is a slight degree of difference when there is only one section for O-#e that caps at O-3E. You'll get $4,329.90 and yes your BAH rate varies based on rank and marital/dependent status.

Shucks, this old retiree would merely check the current pay charts. O-1E over eight should get a tidy sum (compared to E-5 income).

You'll stay on the OE scale until the TIS on the regular pay scale for your rank exceeds the OE scale. Thereafter, you'll never see the OE thing again. That's why it applies to O-1 through O-3. People cross over at different points, but you'll see a cap on the OE scale. O-4 over 12 years is more than the capped OE. Depending on how you progress, it runs about $400-800 more a month before you leave it for good. And that will happen at O-3/12 years. Same number either way.

BTW the OE thing is there because you should be of more value at the junior grades, hence you'll get paid for it. My choice was to Accept E-5 or O-1E. It was $535/month back in '76 so that part was easy.

What would you have done if one of your PFCs asked this? Said, "Gosh, I'll ask on Rallybook" or maybe "look at the pay chart nimrod". Kind of embarrassing that you have a whole bunch of Officers answering you here.

THe exact same I believe as an O1 with 8yrs service. cause it's the same thing.
