And the really scary part is that we don't seem to be able to stop the financing. IS will fund partially from oil revenues, and partially from external sources (per the article, but it just makes sense). The more beheadings they carry out, the higher the ransoms they will likely get from those willing and able to pay ... and the funding beat goes on.
