How to get into sniper school?

With 18 months left in my contract I have been considering what I'm going to do..I have been considering schools as well as other MOS's
Very interested in sniper school

You're probably going to have to commit to staying in for the unit to even consider spending the kind of money necessary to send you to that school.

Is the juice worth the squeeze?
Are you willing to pay the cost of getting to Sniper School?
You'll have to become an 11B just to be eligible. Other MOS's are eligible too, but you can go to Ranger School and Reclass to 11B after. All this will require more than 18 months and a commitment longer than that.

To go to sniper school, you'll have to be an 11B or 19D... then transfer into a sniper section. Once you have the para/line number, it's just a matter of time (and money) until they send you to the school to get fully certified for your duty position. Best of luck!

Wanna be a sniper? Get Re classes. Best way you ask? Ranger School. Then look at going to a scout plt. Then you’ll have prove your worth there and then we’ll send you. Is it worth another reelistment to you?
