I am currently re-enlisting back into the Army, I was wondering if I’ll be a MOS-t. When will I know my assignment, before AIT or during?

SPC Private RallyPoint Member So you are an 88N correct? Did you originally go to AIT for this MOS? If so you are already MOS-T. If you are not MOS-T and are going to AIT like PFC Keeran Ravi said you receive your orders towards the end of your school.

You will be considered a MOS-T since you’re prior service Army. You won’t get your assignment until sometime after your AIT has started. Good luck to you...

It will also depend on how long you were out. Past a certain time you have to take basic all over again and will be treated like the first timers when you go to AIT. If you go to AIT only then yes you will be treated like a MOS-T like the reclass people you will see

You’ll get your assignment at the same time as the other students in your class.
