I know I meet all of the qualifications. I am interested in reclassing to a 79S, any advice? 2014-03-22T18:08:11-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 82294 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a SSG with 12 years TIS 6 months TIG, and advice or insight would be appreciated such as experiences, promotion potiential, and the process of reclassification. Recruiting can be very fulfilling and has better prospects after the Army than Retention does. Just my opinion.   Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 22 at 2014 9:54 PM 2014-03-22T21:54:15-04:00 2014-03-22T21:54:15-04:00 LTC Yinon Weiss 82467 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Check out the 79R and the 79S pages on RallyPoint: <div><br></div><div><a target="_blank" href="https://www.rallypoint.com/specialty/1637">https://www.rallypoint.com/specialty/1637</a> </div><div><a target="_blank" href="https://www.rallypoint.com/specialty/6096">https://www.rallypoint.com/specialty/6096</a> <br><div><br></div><br /><div>If you click on the "Primary" tab -- you'll see all those who have 79R/79S as their Primary MOS and are currently in that field. With all the changes moving forward, you may want to consider 79R as well. Career Counseling could beome pretty rough very quickly.
