If they don&#39;t know off hand what the process is they should be able to find out. If you don&#39;t want to rattle the officers day I suggest go to the ranking enlisted. He/she may or may not know off hand but they know where to look to find out. They could talk to your commander first. I am sure they would be a good resource. The Career Counselor would also be good. I don&#39;t believe they handle officer accessions. They really just need to draft an OCS packet. An officer recruiter would also be an excellent resource. An AD Solider isn&#39;t their normal demographic but I&#39;m sure they would know the steps. They will help you get your OCS packet started. I have now been retired for 28 years, but I want to pass this on. I am 69 years old and never learned to swim. I didn&#39;t know there was a swim test at OCS. That and other reasons precipitated my resigning after four days. I retired as a n E-7. Eventually, he will need the blessing of the CO for a letter of recommendation and endorsement in order to get a letter of recommendation from the BN CO. What is his GPA and APFT score?
