I am sure you have active duty, Army Reserve and Army National Guard slots available Nationwide.
Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 15 at 2018 12:20 AM 2018-01-15T00:20:42-05:00 2018-01-15T00:20:42-05:00 SMSgt Thor Merich 3258174

Yes Response by SMSgt Thor Merich made Jan 15 at 2018 2:49 AM 2018-01-15T02:49:23-05:00 2018-01-15T02:49:23-05:00 MAJ Private RallyPoint Member 3258674

Officers don't get to pick their jobs. You'd be able to guarantee it more in the National Guard but it's still the Army. As far as active duty, you get to tell them what you want to do and then it comes down to the needs of the Army and your performance in ROTC. As an officer you will be doing more administrative functions. It was not my first choice.

In the guard and reserve you can get a memo from a unit accepting you in to any slot you qualify for to get the branch you want. If you are interested in serving in the reserve this is a great system.

Active they do a good job of getting most people something in their top 3 choices.
