Where else could can you instantly get so much feedback and different perspectives on what's going on in our military?  From counseling, to budget closures, PT belts, religion, DADT, NCOERS, everything.  Instant feedback from all over the world and all services and experiences.

No where else can I get an answer from a General Officer on even the most mundane of topics.

This is priceless.

It also gives me the opportunity to see how many people need my awesome guidance.  If only there were more hours in the day!  Great job Rally Point!

You hit the nail on the head about the feedback from all of the services. Being assigned to a command that supported Navy, Army and Air Force missions; and trained small contingents of Marines was one of the best things to ever happen during my career. It's really easy to get into your own bubble, and not realize that there is a wealth of knowledge out there to help out. The multi-service environment definitely pays big dividends.

MilSuite and MilBook were (are?) good resources as well, but the problem with them is that they required CAC card access to use.  I like that RP is very similar to the MilSuite functionally, but I can access and interact with it without having to CAC in all the time.
