Never heard of this course. But, I edited your tags to add EEOCA. Hopefully someone that follows that group can assist you. There is a large fail rate for this course due to the math and people just not taking it seriously. Being E-EOCA qualified is a big deal for a sapper team or a RCP. Make sure you understand your calculations and MDI systems. Also you need to understand IEDs to a pin point. But above all... hopefully you are a team leader as well... plan to be with a lot of tenured NCOs. You also need a clear understanding of NEW and how to figure blast radious. It's a very short class with a ton of information packed in. Take it seriously and you'll do fine.
Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 27 at 2022 4:33 PM 2022-02-27T16:33:18-05:00 2022-02-27T16:33:18-05:00 Sgt Private RallyPoint Member 7547408

Have you studied this E-EOCA material?
https://goordnance.army.mil/munitions_eod/images/E-EOCA%20Course%20Administrative%20Pamphlet.pdf

E-EOCA%2520Course%2520Administrative%2520Pamphlet.pdf

Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 27 at 2022 8:49 PM 2022-02-27T20:49:50-05:00 2022-02-27T20:49:50-05:00 CSM William Everroad 7548126

SPC Private RallyPoint Member EEOCA is a great course. It used to have a pretty high attrition rate for munitions identification and surprisingly demo calculations. If you can find a previous grad who has flash cards, that is a great pre-study. It will help you understand what the difference is between an HE /AT/AP munition and rocket vs mortar. Pay attention, use your spare time to study instead of whatever else the rest of the class is doing and you will be fine. It was longer then and I've heard they've dropped a few things such as dropped munitions, mines, etc. Be prepared for some math, Go over Net Explosive Weight. I can't tell you too much especially over media platforms but it's all about safeties. Just be prepared to learn and study on your off time if you want to succeed.
