Do you like the cold with snow. Do you like the heat? Each base has it ups and downs. I like Carson myself in Colorado.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2019 12:16 PM2019-03-06T12:16:25-05:002019-03-06T12:16:25-05:00SSG Eric Cooper4425455<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I enjoyed 3rd Army in Atlanta, Georgia try to get Ft McPherson. plenty of things for the family to do, and not a hard assignmentResponse by SSG Eric Cooper made Mar 6 at 2019 2:45 PM2019-03-06T14:45:53-05:002019-03-06T14:45:53-05:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member4425714<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>JBLM<br /> hawaii is nice if you like the beaches.Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2019 3:52 PM2019-03-06T15:52:08-05:002019-03-06T15:52:08-05:00SSG Kasius McCall4425807<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Any duty station.Response by SSG Kasius McCall made Mar 6 at 2019 4:17 PM2019-03-06T16:17:36-05:002019-03-06T16:17:36-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member4425957<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well you're making a big assumption if you could go anywhere, it might be better to review which posts/bases are reasonably available to you so you don't spin your wheels over all the choices that are out there. Personally, I'm always jealous of the families that get stationed overseas to Italy, Germany or even Puerto Rico.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2019 5:02 PM2019-03-06T17:02:42-05:002019-03-06T17:02:42-05:00SSG Steven Borders4426179<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="1315744" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/1315744-91b-wheeled-vehicle-mechanic">SGT Private RallyPoint Member</a> Any base, but like others have said some service members have ones like like more. I liked Fort Belvoir, as it was close to DC where I worked, but hated the traffic and we lived on the off post housing so it was pain to drive to the commissary and PX some times. Only thing good about Ft. Stewart was that it was close to Savannah and the beach. Other than that, I hated GA. But that was my preference.Response by SSG Steven Borders made Mar 6 at 2019 6:14 PM2019-03-06T18:14:08-05:002019-03-06T18:14:08-05:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member4426284<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Lol what a silly question.Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2019 6:53 PM2019-03-06T18:53:42-05:002019-03-06T18:53:42-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member4426363<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The first thing to do would be to check out your options by visiting retention.
